Sixteen leading public bodies, academic and research institutions and laboratories throughout Greece, with excellent know-how and a decisive role in the digital transformation of the country, are joining forces to create and implement innovative digital solutions in the Public Administration, in the context of the launch of the Innovation Hub for Digital Governance GR digiGOV-innoHUB . The Hub will create the conditions for the development of new generation public services for Central Administration, Local Government and the productive sectors of the economy, leveraging advanced technologies such as AI, Blockchain, IoT, mobile Internet, Cloud and High Performance Computing, with open software, open data and open standards.

Starting on 1 January 2023 and lasting 36 months, the Hub will act as an environment for experimentation and testing, skills development and good practices for digital governance. The development of partnerships between the public and private sectors, the academic and research community and civil society is a priority of the project, for the rapid development of efficient and sustainable digital solutions that will contribute to the evolution of the State into an investor and buyer of innovative solutions.
