The European Digital Innovation Hub for Digital Governance GR digiGOV-innoHUB in collaboration with the International Hellenic University is launching a series of educational programs titled:

Digital Transformation & Artificial Intelligence”.

The activities are designed for professionals in both the private and public sectors who are keen to learn about advanced technologies and their application in driving digital transformation within their organizations. The primary objective is to provide insights into the latest trends in data analysis, along with hands-on training and usage of selected tools in real-world scenarios.

The first activity will feature experts from the European Commission, academia, and industry. They will explore recent advancements in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and their impact on modern organizations, covering both technical and business perspectives. This session will also include demonstrations of how artificial intelligence can facilitate digital transformation, using specific tools in real-world scenarios. The following activity, which will be announced shortly, will focus on practical training on selected tools, enabling participants to develop skills in designing and implementing data analytics in real-world scenarios. The series of activities will culminate with a third and final activity, where groups will be formed to work on real problems and data and present the conclusions and results of their work in an experience sharing workshop.

Key highlights of the initial session scheduled for Friday, December 8, 2023, are as follows:

  • Overview of the objectives and initiatives of the GR digiGOV-innoHUB innovation hub.
  • Review of data analysis-related activities by EU General Directorates and institutions.
  • Insights into Data Science applications in both private and public sectors, presented by the Account Manager of the KNIME open-source data analysis platform.
  • Case studies and practical applications of real data, led by the DORG team.

At the end of the action, the participants will be informed about upcoming sessions focusing on digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
