The first Educational Activity on Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, organized by the International Hellenic University (IHU) as part of its involvement in the European Digital Innovation Hub for Digital Governance (GR digiGOV-innoHUB) took place on December 8, 2023, at the university’s premises in Thermi, Thessaloniki, in a hybrid format.

This event marks the first part of a series of educational programs aimed at informing and training executives from both private and public sector in cutting-edge technologies, with a focus on digital transformation. More specifically, 150 individuals participated, gaining insights into the role of artificial intelligence in advancing digital transformation. The event featured presentations by members of the European Commission, the University, and businesses, as well as practical demonstrations of tools in real-life scenarios. The high level of participation provided a unique opportunity for exchanging knowledge and experiences among the executives. Discussions during the event revealed substantial interest from public entities in adopting the presented tools for supporting their digital transformation. The IHU team remains available for bilateral contacts, assisting stakeholders in connecting with the GR digiGOV-innoHUB.
